Archiving a Site

Before you archive a site, you must remove or reassign to a different site any categories, content items, departments, templates, or users before you can archive that site.

Archive a Site

  1. Click Settings & Tools > Company Setup, and then click Sites.

  2. In the Sites section, select the site you want to archive.

  3. Click Archive, and do one of the following:

    • Click Continue with Archive.

    • Click Switch to Merge. This option removes the site but automatically associates the merged site's entities with the target site.

  4. In the Warning box, click Continue.

  5. Select a site, click Archive, and then click OK.
