Cloning Read/Complete Task Notification Emails

The Read/Complete Task Notification (System Default) can be cloned to create customizable email template subsets. The new email template subsets can then be used as the default assignee email templates for each content item.

The new email template subsets can also be created for Campaigns containing Disclosure Management content items.

Important: Clearing the Enable check box for theRead/Complete Task Notification (System Default) disables the entire group of subset notifications under that default.

Clone a Read/Complete Task Notification Email

From the navigation pane, click Settings & Tools > Company Setup, and then click Email Manager.
On the Email List tab, expand the Workflow Tasks under Task Notifications.
Select Read/Complete Task Notification (System Default), and then click Clone.
- A new Read/Complete Task Notification email template subset will appear under the System Default.
Click the name of the new email template subset to make edits, and then click to edit any of the items shown.

Note: Once you start making changes, click Reset or Reset All at any time to revert to the original text.
Select the Available For Use check box.
(Optional) Click Preview to see a preview of the email template.
Click Close.

Delete a Read/Complete Task Notification Email

Important: Deleting the task notification email template will set all content previously using this template to the System Default notification.

From the navigation pane, click Settings & Tools > Company Setup, and then click Email Manager.
On the Email List tab, expand the Workflow Tasks under Task Notifications.
Select the task notification template you want to delete.
Click Delete, and then click Yes to confirm your choice.

Note: The Read/Complete Task Notification (System Default) cannot be deleted.
