You can use these settings if your organization exchanges user authentication information using SAML 2.0.

Important: These settings apply only to environments using the Policy & Procedure Management application. For environments with Policy & Procedure Management on Platform, see Authentication Management in NAVEX One for further details.

Configure SAML 2.0 Settings

  1. Click Settings & Tools > IT Settings, and then click Login Settings.
  2. Click the SAML 2.0 tab.
  3. In the Verification certificate field, paste your SAML certificate provided by your identity provider.
  4. For Issuer, type in the name of the certificate issuer.
  5. For Sign-on URL, type the URL where you want your users to sign in.
  6. Leave Relay State Variable set to RelayState.
  7. Select Deep Linking to allow Policy & Procedure Management to use a hyperlink that links to a specific, generally searchable or indexed, piece of web content on a website. For example, you could use "http://example.com/path/page", rather than the website's home page (i.e.: "http://example.com". The URL in this example contains the information needed to point to a particular item. Clear Deep Linking if you do not intend to use SAML, in which case, your certificate information is retained.
  8. For ACS URL and Service Provider ID, type the necessary service provider information.
  9. (Optional) For Clock Skew, type a value in minutes for the difference in the input clock signal arrival time, if required.
  10. Click Save.
