Configuring Single Sign-On Settings

If your organization has implemented a third-party single sign-on (SSO) application, you can configure PolicyTech to refer login attempts to this application. Then users who are logged in through the SSO application will not need to log in when launching PolicyTech.

Important: These settings apply only to environments using the PolicyTech application. For environments with PolicyTech on Platform, see Authentication Management in NAVEX One for further details.

Configure Single Sign-On Settings

  1. Click Settings & Tools > IT Settings, and then click Login Settings.
  2. Click the Single Sign-on tab.
  3. By default, Encryption Type is set to 3DES (meaning the Data Encryption Standard (DES) cipher algorithm is applied three times to each data block). Change this setting if your SSO application uses an AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm.
  4. For the Private Key, Authentication URL, and Cookie / URL Key fields, type the information necessary for PolicyTech to communicate with your SSO application.
  5. Click Save.
