Sending a Document or Assessment Back to Draft

A document owner, assessment owner, or administrator can send a document or assessment in the Collaboration, Review, or Approval status back to Draft status. Any writers (Collaboration status), reviewers, or approvers in the current status who had not completed their assigned tasks are notified that their tasks no longer need to be completed.

Send a Document or Assessment to Draft

  1. From an open document or an assessment, click More, and then click Send to Draft.

  2. (Optional) Type a reason for sending the content item back to Draft.

  3. Click Save.
  4. In the Results window, click OK.

Note: The document or assessment is moved to Draft status and remains open.
