Changing a Questionnaire

As a document owner, you can change a questionnaire's content and settings at any time until the document is approved.

Changing Questionnaire Content

  1. Open the document, which must be in one of the following statuses: draft, collaboration, review, or approval.

Note: If you need to change the questionnaire content in an approved document, either create a new version of the document or ask a document control administrator to change the questionnaire for you.

  1. Click the Edit Questionnaire tab.
  1. In the 1. Questions and Answers window, do any of the following:

Notes:

  • To edit a subquestion, click before the parent answer to show the question, and then click the question text.
  • To delete an answer from a question or subquestion, in the Question window, click for that answer.

Important: Deleting a learning objective also deletes all questions currently assigned to that objective. Deleting a question also deletes its answers and any subquestions attached to those answers.

Helpful Answer Shortcuts

In the Questions & Answers window, click one of the following icons displayed after an answer to go directly to the corresponding feature or setting:

Add a subquestion to this answer

Open Advanced Settings for this answer

or

Open the Case Creation window for this answer (available only when Case Management Integration is set up and enabled)

Changing Questionnaire Settings

  1. Open the document, which must be in one of the following statuses: draft, collaboration, review, or approval.

Note: If you need to change the questionnaire settings in an approved document, either create a new version of the document or ask a document control administrator to change the questionnaire for you.

  1. Click the Edit Questionnaire tab, and then, in the 1. Questions and Answers window, click Questionnaire Settings.
  1. Make changes, and then click Save.
