Adding an Assessment to a Localized Document Copy

You may or may not be able to add an assessment to a localized document copy, depending on whether the original document owner has synced the original and its copies.

Add an Assessment to a Localized Document Copy

  1. Find and open the localized document copy to which you want to add an assessment.

Note: In a document list, a localized copy title is preceded by an up arrow (↑).

  1. Click the Edit Assessment tab, and then do one of the following, depending on the state of this localized copy in relation to its original document:
    • If the original document has not been synced with this copy and the original document has no assessment, you can create one now. You can add an assessment to this copy just as you would with any document.
    • If this localized copy has not been synced with the original document and an assessment has been added to the original, this copy inherited that assessment and you will see its contents. You can freely edit the assessment, including adding and deleting questions or disabling the assessment.
    • If the original document has an assessment and is synced with this localized copy, this copy has inherited the same assessment. You will be able to edit (localize) questions, answers, and the introductory text (see Localizing a Synced Assessment), but you cannot replace the assessment.
    • If this localized copy has been synced with the original document and an assessment has not been added to the original, you will not be able to add an assessment to the localized copy.
